We have published our report that gives an overview of compliance with Welsh language duties for 2023-24.
This annual report, which bears the title Delivering change together, is an opportunity to reflect on the way organisations consider the Welsh language when formulating policies and when planning and delivering services in Welsh.
The report shows that public organisations compliance with the Welsh language standards is improving and there is a high level of assurance that a number of organisations are delivering high-quality Welsh language services.
We are pleased to note that the health and education sectors have responded positively to the challenge set out for them last year, with a general increase in their compliance levels. Our monitoring work has also identified those organisations have invested time and resources to change their arrangements for the better.
However, a great deal remains to be done over the coming years if we are to deliver the regulatory outcomes that we have set, and see organisations delivering high-quality Welsh language services, and guaranteeing a Welsh language experience for users at all times.
