The Place-names Standardisation Panel recommends adopting both forms as both are well-established.
It should be noted that both forms are used in Welsh language contexts and some believe that the form Rhiwbina represents an earlier Welsh pronunciation than Rhiwbeina. For this reason the Panel would not consider using the form Rhiwbina in both languages to be non-standard.
